bangkok for kids

Thailand is acclaimed for many things, including nightlife, shopping, and great wildlife experience, even in the middle of Khao San, but it’s not the top destination for people who want a family tour. This is quite unfair. There is just as much to do for kids in Bangkok as it is for adults.

siamese ocean world

If you want your child to see what an aquarium is supposed to look like, take them to Siam Ocean World in the Siam Paragon shopping mall. Let your child tour a glass bottom boat and even swim with some of the friendliest sharks he’s ever seen.

ice skating

It doesn’t snow in Bangkok, but it doesn’t stop Central World at Siam Discovery Center from building an Olympic-sized skating rink. If your child doesn’t know how to skate, he can take lessons here and impress his playmates back home.

butterfly garden

Children like to chase butterflies. There is something about the beauty of their wings that mesmerizes people with happiness. In Thailand, they don’t need to chase butterflies, butterflies will chase them. In the Butterfly Garden at Rotfai Gardent, BTS Mochit, there are more than 500 different types of butterflies. The place is so big that they can spend the whole day running. You can also pack a picnic and bike a couple of miles.

Waterparks

If you don’t have time to take them to Phuket or Phi Phi for a swim, try the water parks. Don’t worry, it’s not one of those water parks where you won’t see anything but slides. There are roller coasters, fairy rides, other types of games, and other activities that the whole family can participate in.

Madame Tussauds wax museum

Yao Ming has retired. You’ll never see him play in the NBA again, but you can still see him at Madame Tusaauds Wax Museum at the Siam Discover Center. In addition to Yao Ming, there are also other international celebrities, such as Bruce Lee, David Beckham, Brad Pitt, and Tom Cruise. Well, not exactly, but the wax is so real you won’t know the difference.

dust zoo

Asia is known for its wildlife, but there are very few countries that have managed to support and keep their wildlife healthy. Thailand is one of them. Dusit Zoo on Rama V Road offers you a chance to have a family bonding experience while watching over 800 different species of birds fly above you. You can hike, have a picnic, take train tours, or take a boat ride to tour. There are tigers, many snakes, monkeys and other animals.

temples

I know it doesn’t sound interesting, but wait until you see the look on your children’s faces when you tell them that the Great Temple is made of gold. Let them touch the gold, take photos with the wandering monks, and look at the King’s former resident and his family.
