It’s the season! As you decorate for Christmas this year, don’t forget to decorate your dollhouse! Not only is it fun, but it gives your home a unique Christmas decoration. Here are some accessories that you can buy to make your dollhouse look more festive:

Christmas trees
There are many types of Christmas trees available, just like in real life. Some come pre-decorated; others are simple but may have added embellishments. Many come with “snow” attached. You can buy green, gold, silver or white Christmas trees, with several different heights. Ornaments are available, as well as dollhouse-sized tinsel and angels to rest on top. You can also get a Christmas tree skirt, and don’t forget the gifts that go under the tree! You can get gift-wrapped sets as well as Christmas gift bags for your dollhouse.

Christmas decorations
There are many decorations that you can place around your dollhouse. There are garlands of different colors, stockings for the fireplace, silver bells, Santa hats, candy canes and snowflakes. There are also several types of crowns available. You can also buy a nativity set for your dollhouse or a gingerbread house to place on a dollhouse table. Another idea is to buy a Christmas sleigh and load it with gifts or other Christmas decorations.

Lights
Dollhouse Christmas lights can really make your dollhouse look festive! Even if your dollhouse isn’t wired for lighting, some holiday lights can be plugged into a normal electrical outlet. You can add these lights to the outside of the house or to your dollhouse Christmas tree. Try to measure ahead to find out how many strings of lights you will need.
