Eliminate shyness with belly dancing

Do you consider yourself shy? Are you having trouble standing in front of people to make an announcement or give a speech? Is it difficult for you to meet new people? You are not alone, almost fifty percent of the population admit to feeling shy.

Shyness can be corrected with many different techniques, but I would like to focus on dance therapy. One dance that helps young women eliminate shyness is belly dancing. Learning this dance helps to develop self-confidence, self-esteem and self-esteem.

Three different aspects to correct shyness.

  1. Self-confidence … feeling very confident in yourself and having complete confidence in your abilities.
  2. Self-esteem … recognition of your achievements
  3. Self-esteem how you value yourself

The movements used in this individual dance style require focused attention to be successful. This draws attention to the body and how it works. If we are not comfortable with our female body, then we feel shy and this will cause negative attitudes in our mental, emotional and spiritual being.

In the classroom, shy people move toward the back of the classroom, as they are uncomfortable in clothing that reveals their tummy. However, they soon discover that other students are too busy looking in the mirror or at the teacher learning the movements. Students are too busy learning and not interested in observing other classmates.

The shy person will turn to another student to ask what they missed and this will start the socialization process. Socializing is easy in this situation since both people have a common interest in dancing. The conversation is positive and uplifting, which is essential for the shy person. This personality type often fears negative feedback when meeting or conversing with other people.

Negative thoughts will cause you to withdraw from meeting or talking to people. Our doubts about ourselves prevent us from meeting new people, enjoying life or discovering a lifestyle that makes us feel alive, happy and with a sense of belonging to the company we choose.

There are many other arts and crafts activities that support this interest in dance and help strengthen all aspects of a woman so that she feels positive and good about herself. The other students who are girls and women eliminate their fears while communicating with other women by sharing their stories and how this dance changed their attitude or lifestyle.

There are class recitals. No teacher will force a student to dance if it is a traumatic experience. Most of the students are nervous on the first performance. However, most instructors will lead the group for the first time. This arrangement builds trust for all artists.

In my experience, the shy individual is usually the first to volunteer to take part in all the shows after the first performance. You have developed your self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-esteem. She is empowered.
