Essential Candida Diet Recipes

One of the biggest misconceptions when suffering from Candida albicans overgrowth, and someone must go on a yeast-free diet, is that they will be required to eat boring, tasteless food all day, every day. Some people have gone so far as to refer to it as a “cave diet.” But it doesn’t have to be that way, not at all. There are hundreds and hundreds of delicious Candida diet recipes available that you can try and enjoy.

Most of us have heard of the phrase “you are what you eat“…if what you’ve been eating leads you to be a victim of yeast overgrowth, maybe the caveman diet isn’t a bad idea if it will get you back to health. I’ve created a list of some simple, easy, quick-to-prepare list of recipes that can be taken advantage of.

There are several types of food that can be tried for different recipe ideas that are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can also be creative and just go crazy and try other things as long as they are on the list of foods to use when on a Candida diet like…

stir-fried vegetable omelette

Try not to be limited, just use what you want for your stir fry.

Ingredients

2-3 organic eggs (remove the yolks if you are watching your cholesterol)
2 tablespoons olive oil ¼ finely chopped onion
¼ chopped green bell pepper
¼ chopped yellow bell pepper
2 celery sticks or a handful of spinach

In a preheated skillet add all the vegetables and sauté until tender. Once tender, add the beaten eggs to the skillet, lightly scramble until the eggs are cooked through, then add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste for immediate service.

Tuna salad ingredients

1 can of tuna 3-4 lettuce leaves
2 tablespoons finely chopped shallot/onion
¼ finely chopped red bell pepper
¼ finely chopped yellow bell pepper
2 tablespoons of anchovy
1 hard-boiled egg cut into cubes
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Mix everything in a salad bowl and serve.

Grilled Marinated Pork Ribs

Ingredients 3 pounds of pork ribs

½ onion
½ Spanish onion
1 green, red and yellow bell pepper chopped
1 heaping tablespoon crushed garlic
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon dried oregano leaf
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon salt

Chop the onions and bell peppers, add the crushed garlic, apple cider vinegar, cumin seeds, oregano leaves, salt, and cayenne pepper. Put all of this in a food processor and then spin until finely chopped.

Rub this mixture onto your spare ribs and then place in a resealable plastic bag or dish to marinate for at least 6-12 hours. When your marinade is ready broil over medium heat with the lid closed, let it broil for about 45 – 60 minutes until golden brown, remember to flip so the ribs don’t burn.

Once cooked, it can be served with a green vegetable salad.
