You can be in business for yourself and start your own business simply by offering to wash others’ cars for them. Not everyone wants a car detail all the time, just occasionally, but they do need their cars washed regularly. You could make up a flyer that says you come every 2 weeks or so and wash cars in the parking lot for such-and-such a price. You could easily have repeat customers who would come to rely on your services on a regular basis.

You could go to some office buildings and industrial centers that have large parking lots and lots of workers inside. You could offer to wash all the cars for a certain price. You would just need access to water, a power washer, and cleaning equipment. You can easily carry all of this in the back of a pickup truck or trailer. People would find your service excellent, especially if they clean it at work, while they work, it would really save them time, doing it in their spare time.

Each day you could service a different section of the city or town, until you return to your original city, where all the cars would be dirty again by that time. You would only need to wash a hand full of cars every day to earn good money. You should have a flyer saying how much your car washes cost and notify new customers when you will be back to washing cars on site.

You will get a lot of repeat business and then you can grow your business with helpers if you do a good job and go back to the same places to keep all the cars clean. You can also offer your services to auto dealers and dealers who may need some extra help washing their fleets from time to time.
